Doug joined NHC in 2010 as Vice President of Finance. His 25+ years of communications experience started in sales and operations before moving to finance and information technology. Doug has leveraged his product and marketing experience with financial analysis and deep data/information management skills to give him unique insights in the telecom sector. Doug led NHC’s development of our back office OSS management system and the procurement and onboarding initiative of CRM tools supporting our ecommerce launch. In addition, Doug managed and executed multiple data integration projects designed to reduce churn, and he enhanced network audits saving NHC millions of dollars. In 2016, Doug became Executive Vice President of Finance and in 2017 was named Chief Executive Officer. Prior to NHC, Doug had worked at CTC – later One Communications – serving in financial reporting. Doug is an avid scuba diver, oyster shucker, grill master and #masterstacker!
Stephen Gibbs
Steve Gibbs joined NHC at its inception and was named President in May 2003. Prior to launching NHC, Steve was responsible for a $120 million business unit of CTC Communications, overseeing sales and operations of the New York/New Jersey market. Before CTC, he served in sales and sales management positions at Verizon. An executive sales leader, Steve is heavily involved in the day-to-day sales opportunities, often traveling to end customer and partner locations to meet personally with opportunities and partners. Sales and supporting the best customer experience is in his DNA. NHC has grown to be THE Communications Stack Provider it is today due to his leadership, vision, and his deep knowledge of business. Outside the office you can find Steve running, cycling, or doing anything active. A soccer guru, Steve will go to great lengths to explain to anyone why the world should shut down during WorldCup play… except for sales of course. #salesstacker
Glen Nelson
Glen Nelson has been on the sales and marketing side of telecom for decades. In 2002, he joined with two long time colleagues to form NHC. Glen has served in leadership roles in Operations, Marketing, and Business Development. Today, as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, he is responsible for carrier/vendor relations, developing Network layer product strategies, and regulatory/legal affairs. With his carrier and regulatory experience, he led the effort to obtain state certifications, including IXC and CLEC approvals and has negotiated aggressive network partnership agreements. Glen has been integral to training and sales assistance, as well as the development and implementation of NHC’s service offerings. Prior to NHC, Glen served as Vice President of Marketing at CTC Communications where he developed, implemented, and scaled to production one of the first IP integrated voice and data networks. Glen is an avid scuba diver and a global traveler, often seeking the most diverse, exotic, and adventurous destinations to scuba and enjoy local cultures and cuisines. #stackinadventures!
Shira Whritenour
Shira Whritenour joined NHC in 2003 to oversee our Billing, Collections and Account Receivable activities, and she was responsible for processing and delivering our very first NHC invoice to customers in September of that year. Since then, Shira has continued to work on billing system growth by building teams and creating the policies necessary to produce and collect on an industry-leading user-friendly invoice. Shira has been instrumental in integrating our OSS and BSS back office and has added automation to collections and receivables, resulting in faster processing time. In August of 2019, Shira was named Vice President of Billing. Prior to NHC, Shira worked for 10 years at CTC Communications where she was responsible for senior level billing planning and strategy. While Shira puts in long hours making sure NHC’s customers have access to the best invoice resources possible, she still finds time for kickboxing, scuba diving, and of course traveling with her family to the Caribbean. #stackinStJohnUSVI!!
Eric Anderson
Eric Anderson joined NHC in 2011. Eric leverages his years of Information Technology, Operations, and Engineering experience to lead strategy and development of NHC’s technology posture. As Chief Technology Officer, Eric has led the design, engineering, and operational support of NHC’s cloud-first products, as well as the development of internal NHC systems that make NHC tick. His ability to see the big picture is what sets him apart from the crowd. Before joining NHC, Eric supported One Communications through multiple roles within IT, Marketing, and Engineering Operations. Eric began his career with the NHC founders where he was responsible for the corporate infrastructure, carrier ISP network, and operations at CTC Communications. In his spare time, Eric enjoys working on his houses, spending time with his family, and slapping the bass and crashing cymbals with his band around the north shore. #multitalentedstacker!
Eric Hammare
Eric was promoted to VP of Sales in December of 2014, following three very successful years in Channel Sales serving our Agent Partner community and earning a reputation amongst the channel for hard work, selling skills, and tireless sales support. This led him to exceed every sales objective he ever received. Eric was instrumental in building NHC’s Channel Sales organization to support Partners nationally. Recruiting, training, and motivating some of the best in the business including a team of Channel Managers, presales support experts and a highly skilled quote desk. Under his leadership, he led the effort to promote, recruit and establish long term and mutually beneficial relationships with leading Master Agents in our industry which was key in driving NHC’s revenue growth since 2014. Prior to NHC, Eric was a top account executive at One Communications racking up a strong record of success over three years. When Eric isn’t working, he spends his time traveling with his wife and daughter and loving Boston sports.
