Doug Fabbricatore, Chief Executive Officer

Doug joined NHC in 2010 as Vice President of Finance.   His over twenty five years  of telecommunications experience started in sales and operations before moving to finance and information technology.   Doug has leveraged his telecom product and marketing experience with financial analysis and deep data/information management skills to give him unique insights in the telecom sector. Doug led the team at NHC to  project manage,  integrate and launch a new billing platform, develop our own in-house OSS back office management system and is responsible for the operation and successful growth of  NHC Resources which provides equipment financing to NHC for our customers.  In addition, Doug managed and executed multiple data integration projects, proactive programs designed to reduce churn, and network audits saving millions of dollars.  In 2016, Doug become Executive Vice President of Finance and in 2017 was named Chief Executive Officer.  Prior to NHC, Doug had worked at CTC, later One Communications serving most recently in financial reporting and compensation.

Stephen Gibbs, President and Chief Operating Officer

Steve Gibbs joined New Horizon Communications at its inception in 2002 and was named President in May of 2003. He brings over 20 years of telecommunications experience to NHC. Prior to helping start NHC, Steve was responsible for a $120 million business unit of CTC Communications, overseeing sales and operations of the New York/New Jersey market. Before CTC, he served in sales and sales management positions at Verizon and MCI.

Glen Nelson, Vice President, Business Development

Glen Nelson has been on the sales and marketing side of telecom for over 30 years.  In 2002, he joined with two long time colleagues to form New Horizon Communications. At NHC, he has served in leadership roles in Operations, Marketing and Business Development.  Today, as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, he is responsible for carrier/ vendor relations, marketing communications, solutions training and regulatory/legal affairs.  With his carrier and regulatory experience, he led the effort to obtain state certifications, including IXC and CLEC approvals and negotiated all UNE agreements for nationwide POTs coverage.  He also led with the development of NHC’s customer and agent portal and its on-line training tool.  Over the last 15 years, he has been integral to the development, implementation, training and sales assistance with NHC’s service offerings.  He also pursued, sold and provides on-going account management of one of NHC’s largest customers. Prior to New Horizon, he worked for 13 years in various sales and marketing positions at CTC Communications Corp. As Vice President of Marketing at CTC, Glen developed, implemented, and scaled to production one of the first IP integrated voice and data networks. His background also includes relevant work in marketing research, strategic planning, sales, sales management, and marketing management.

Paul Wieners, Vice President, Operations

Paul Wieners joined New Horizon in 2004 bringing over 35 years’ experience in Operations Management and Leadership as NHC Vice President of Operations, Paul overseas all aspects of Service Delivery including Carrier Order Management, 24×7 Repair, NHC’s Network Operations Centers and the development, delivery and on-going management of our newVoice family of Hosted and Connect products.

Prior to NHC, Mr. Wieners was the Global Operations Manager of Network Operations at Dimension Data from 2002 thru 2006. At Dimension Data, his responsibilities were focused around support of managed services’ clients including WAN carrier management, onsite dispatch and remote support of CISCO appliances at client locations. He managed an around the globe follow the sun operation for Dimension Data Global Clients supervising personnel from level 1 up to CCVP and CCIE Cisco Certified Engineers

Prior to Dimension Data, Paul served as Director of Operations at CTC Communications with responsibilities for all Operations Personnel located in nationally disbursed Sales branches. Areas of responsibility included all aspects of Service Delivery including Carrier Order Management, 24×7 Repair, CTC’s Network Operations Centers and the development, delivery and on-going management of the first of its kind, Voice over IP using ATM network which passed its first call in December of 2000.

Prior to joining CTC, Paul worked in multiple Operations positions over the previous 18 years in the former companies that now make up Verizon.

Eric Anderson, Vice President, Technology

Eric Anderson joined the New Horizon Communications team in 2011.  Eric has over 20 years of Information Technology, Operations and Engineering experience. As Vice President of Technology, Eric has led the engineering, operations, and design of NHC’s newVoice family of Hosted and Connect products. Before joining NHC, Eric supported One Communications through multiple roles within IT, Marketing, and Engineering Operations. Eric began his career with the NHC founders where he was responsible for the corporate infrastructure, carrier ISP network and operations at CTC Communications.

Eric Hammare, Vice President, Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Eric Hammare leads NHC’s sales efforts, providing Agent Channel Managers and Agents with superior leadership and growth strategies. After a long tenure at One Communications, Eric Hammare joined NHC in June of 2011 as an Agent Channel Manager. He has been responsible for most of NHC’s growth over the last three years, exceeding NHC’s aggressive sales goals. In December, 2014, Eric was named NHC Vice President of Sales.
